The Xbox Wireless Headset is the most recent addition to this royal lineage, and it appears to be filling those enormous shoes admirably. The new massive battery is the headset's main selling point. This provides up to 300 hours of battery life while in wireless mode while keeping the headset light and comfortable. It's a massive feat, and I believe HyperX has accomplished it.
This unit reported an 80% charge out of the box, so I decided to leave it at that to see how well it held up. I spent the day at work listening to music and checking the battery. I swear it was still 80%. I've been using this device primarily for gaming and music listening. consistently for the past week, and we're still not even at 50%. I haven't charged this headset once since I received it, and it feels like a ruse. I'm going to have to plug it in to test charging before I can actually charge it, which is insane.
